Description:

One of approximately 100 altered to Lindner configuration in late 1861 under contract for the state of Massachusetts, breech block marked "69", very faint cartouche on left flat.

Rating Definition:

Good, with iron mostly bright grey patina, attractively aged patina on brass, some scattered light surface pitting, and the refinished wood having a few repairs/splices and scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.
