"1825" dated lock and barrel, "US" and "N.CAROLINA" stamped on barrel at breech, faint cartouche on left flat.

Good, with traces of original brown finish mixed with brown and grey patina, some scattered light pitting, and some minor handling marks, chips, and a crack in the refinished wood. Mechanically excellent.
