Receiver manufactured October 1940. Replacement "1 S A 3 44" barrel, replacement "-19SA" bolt, replacement "-18-SA" trigger housing, with unmarked stamped trigger guard, replacement "-7 SA" hammer, replacement "9 SA" unmodified operating rod, cross slot gas plug, faintly visible boxed "S.A./G.H.S." and large crossed cannons cartouches stamped on the left of the stock wrist.

Very good as refinished, with scattered patches of light pitting visible underneath the finish. Stock is also good as sanded and re-oiled, with numerous scattered scratches and dents. Mechanically excellent.
