Originally manufactured in 1873, subsequently arsenal refurbished/reconfigured with a Model 1879 rear sight and replacement barrel with "V/P" and eagle head proofs, oval script "P" cartouche stamped on left wrist.

Fine as arsenal refurbished/reconfigured, with some light flaking and handling marks. Stock is very good as refinished, with scattered scratches and dents. Mechanically excellent.
