Barrel: 25 inch round
Finish: green

Stock:
Item Views: 2450
Item Interest: Very Active
Serial Number:
Class: Class III
Bore Condition: Good - Some light pitting or frosted appearance
Description:

Developed in the 1940s the M19 was intended as the replacement with the M2 mortar. The primary change from the M2 was the introduction of a lightweight, free-aiming "spade" baseplate (later replaced with a more conventional bipod mount arrangement) and a dual function firing mechanism that could operate in both the traditional "drop fire" mode as well as a mode where the tube could be kept loaded until a spring loaded lever fired the weapon. Green paint finish overall, with a "LUBRICATION ORDER" decal applied to the tube, Bell markings on the endcap, and the aforementioned firing mechanism. Included with the lot are a green painted baseplate, M5 bipod, and an M4 sight.

Rating Definition:

Fine, with scuffs overall, along with some mild spotting. The sight is very good. The mainspring is absent from the firing mechanism, which is otherwise in good order. NOTE: This Destructive Device is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 479, National Firearms Act.
