This automatic carbine was manufactured by Universal Firearms of Hialeah, Florida mostly using military surplus components around their commercial M1 receiver. Blade front and adjustable rear sights, unmarked barrel fitted with a flash hider, Type III barrel band, flip safety, "M" magazine catch, unmarked low wood M2 stock, "R.S.G." two-rivet handguard, Inland cast trigger housing, HSA operating rod and M2 components, and flat top "AI" bolt. Fitted with an olive drab green canvas web sling and oiler.

Fine as refinished, with some light handling marks and cycling wear. Refinished stock is also very good with scratches and dents, and a small crack visible behind the recoil plate. Absent barrel band retaining spring and absent magazine. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 479.
