Two U.S. Military Semi-Automatic Long Guns

A) U.S. Springfield Armory M1 Garand Rifle

Receiver from March 1945 production, "3 S A 3 45" marked barrel with bright chamber, "K" and punch dot marked bayonet lug on the wide base gas cylinder, "19SA/B-18" bolt, "6 SA" operating rod with relief cut, "12-SA" trigger housing with "% SA" hammer and "9SA" safety. Stock is unmarked.

ConditionFine as arsenal refurbished, with traces of original finish on the receiver along with brown patina and minor pitting, some minor edge wear, minor spotting, and mild handling marks. The refinished stock is good as heavily sanded. Mechanically excellent.

B) U.S. Inland Mfg. Div. M1 Carbine

Manufactured in 1943, from the first production block from Inland Mfg. Div. (between serial numbers 101 and 999,000) manufactured from May 1942 to December 1943. "3-43" dated Inland barrel, "N" marked front sight, "AI" type 3 barrel band, "S'G'" slide, "18/S" flat bolt, "ordnance bomb" trigger housing with "M/WA" magazine release and "IH" hammer, and "I.R.CO." rear sight. Fitted with a "HI" marked stock with "IO" two rivet handguard. Magazine is absent.

ConditionFine as arsenal refurbished with flattened front sight wings, dried varnish/grease, and otherwise limited handling marks. The stock is very good as sanded and varnished. Mechanically excellent.
