A) U.S. Remington Model 1917 Rifle

Manufactured in 1918. "R/ordnance bomb/5-18" marked barrel, "R" and "E" marked bolt, boxed "AAS" and "B" Augusta Arsenal rebuild marked stock. Includes a "1917" dated Remington Arms M1917 bayonet and scabbard.

ConditionFine as arsenal refurbished, with limited minor edge wear, scattered minor spotting/brown patina showing, and a few patches of light pitting. The stock is very good as sanded and re-oiled with some scattered dents and scuffs. Mechanically excellent. The bayonet is very good.

Manufactured in 1943. "RA/flaming bomb/8-43" marked barrel, "R" marked bolt and upper band, boxed "O.G." Ogden Arsenal rebuild mark and "US" on the faintly "FJA" (Col. Frank J. Atwood) inspected stock. Includes a circle "PAL" marked PAL Blade & Tool Co. M1 bayonet and scabbard.

ConditionVery fine as arsenal refurbished, with limited edge wear, and limited spotting/pitting. The stock is fine as sanded and reoiled, with a few light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The bayonet is very good.
