Only 150 Pocket Positive models were manufactured with the extra short 2 inch barrel. Factory letter states revolver was charged to the Colt loan account, shipped to Colt's New York office on March 9, 1940 as part of a 25 gun shipment, and was later sold to J.K. Carmichael Inc. of New York City on March 20, 1940 with a 2 inch barrel, blue finish, type of stocks not listed, and checkered trigger (special feature).

Fine overall with original finish, edge wear, couple areas of pitting on cylinder, replacement grips with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
