Originally printed in 1908 and quickly recalled due to the racial interpretation of the tag line "WINCHESTER LOADED SHOTGUN SHELLS" above the scene and "SHOOT THEM AND AVOID TROUBLE" below it. This was taken by many to be referring to the black men, not the skunk. It depicts one man flushing a skunk out of a tree trunk with a stick while a dog and second man are startled by the skunk. Outer dimensions of the frame are 38 1/2 x 48 1/2 inches.

Very fine with distinct color and vibrant imagery and some scattered minor handling/storage wear on the frame, primarily on corners.
