Manufactured c. 1868-1872, "1863" dated lock. With "US" marked socket bayonet.

Rating Definition:

Fine overall with mostly bright grey patina, scattered light pitting and spotting, and refinished wood with a wrist repair and minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Bayonet is fine.

Fine overall with traces of original finish, some scattered patches of light pitting, and wood with hairline cracks, chips, and handling marks. Stock loose. Mechanically fine.
