Fine overall with mostly bright grey patina, scattered light pitting and spotting, and refinished wood with a wrist repair and minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Bayonet is fine.

Manufactured c. 1870-1871 by Springfield Armory on royalty agreement with E. Remington & Sons, tang screw too long, stock loose.

Fine overall with traces of original finish, some scattered patches of light pitting, and wood with hairline cracks, chips, and handling marks. Stock loose. Mechanically fine.
