Description:

Manufactured c. 1840-1860. The faint barrel signature appears to end in Sheetz. "R. & W.C. BIDDLE & Co./PHILADELPHIA" marked lock.

Rating Definition:

Fair with gray and brown patina, heavy flash pitting at the breech and lock, cracked stock, and general moderate wear. The lock and set triggers function, but the hammer will not meet the replacement nipple.

Manufactured c. early 19th century. The faint lock marking appears to be "T/KETLAND/& Co". The barrel has Tower private proofs and "LONDON".

Rating Definition:

Good with mottled gray and brown patina, heavy flash pitting at the breech, aged patina on the brass furniture, refinished stock with some chips and cracks, and moderate wear. Mechanically fine.
