Manufactured in 1943. Unmarked barrel, "RMC" stamped in the sling inlet along with the matching serial number which is also on the underside of the handguard. This is an Austrian Gendarmerie (Rural Police) carbine, provided to Austria after World War II. The "LGKV 0589" marking on the trigger housing indicates it was from Vorarlberg, the western most state of Austria. Includes a CMP Certificate of Authenticity indicating it was sold on September 24, 2009, and a CMP shipping box.

Fine as professionally refinished, with some light cycling wear. Refinished stock is very good with scattered dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
