Description:

Produced for the 1st Marine Division and the 1st and 2nd Marine Raider Battalions. 12 1/4" OAL, 7 1/8" inch needle point double edged blade, originally etched with a "U.S.M.C." banner (now absent) and faintly with "CAMILLUS/CUTLERY/CO./CAMILLUS,/N.Y." on one side. The hilt and guard are a single piece of cast zinc. With a plate-reinforced leather sheath.

Rating Definition:

Good, the blade mostly bright with mild wear and scattered light pitting, some cracking/chipping on the hilt and crisp grip checkering. Sheath is fine with mild wear and town handle retention strap.
