Receiver manufactured c. 1943. Underwood "8-44" dated barrel, low wood stock with boxed "RIA/EB" rebuild cartouche stamped on the left wrist, faded boxed "RMQ" and crossed cannons cartouche on the right, "PJ" two-rivet handguard, self-contained operating rod spring, Rock-Ola trigger housing, "WM" hammer, "N" flip safety, "HI" magazine catch, "3C/S" parkerized flat top bolt, "W" operating rod, type III barrel band modified with the bayonet portion removed, and 5-round magazine in the gun. Includes a canvas web sling, oiler, three extra 30-round magazines and one extra 15-round magazine.

Fine as refinished, with some areas of scattered light pitting visible underneath the finish. Stock is very good as sanded and re-oiled, with scattered dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
