Manufactured c. 1872-1874. "W.B. Ellis" signed on the butt for Firearms Engravers Guild of America member William B. Ellis and engraved with extensive period style scroll and floral engraving.

Very good as professionally embellished and refinished with crisp engraving, most of the blue remaining, pitting under the finish, and moderate overall wear. The replacement grips are also very good with age lines and minor wear. Mechanically fine.
