Description:

This is a high quality cast of Frederic Remington's famous work "Trooper of the Plains", which features a mounted U.S. cavalry trooper during the period of the Indian Wars in the American West. The base has Remington's cast signature as well as "FOUNDERS AUTHORIZED/EDITION No. 19/100". It is mounted on a green marble slab that has a brass plaque with the title of the piece. It measures approximately 21 inches tall including the marble slab, which also measures approximately 19 x 8 inches. Provenance: The Charles Marx Collection
