Good, with brown/grey patina, pitting/oxidation scattered throughout, and the weathered wood having some hairline cracks/splitting grain and minor handling marks/edge chips. Mechanically fine.

Manufactured 1895, Native American type brass tack decoration on the wood, rawhide repair around the wrist, makeshift leather buttplate, sling ring added on the bottom just behind the wrist, front sight and screw from bottom of receiver absent, barrel and magazine tube shortened.

Fair as frontier modified/repaired, with mostly grey patina, oxidation/pitting scattered throughout, and well-weathered wood with cracks, repairs, and absent chips. Mechanically functions, but lower portion of the receiver is not secure during lever operation.
