Description:

This c. early 19th century gun's barrel is signed "Peter Henrichs", and the patchbox and stock have leather repairs. The underside of the stock has an "N3260/3599" inventory type number. The cheekpiece has an interesting brass and silver star inlay.

Rating Definition:

Fair with a poorly fitted replacement lock, absent components, cracks and chips in the stock, oxidation, pitting, and heavy wear typical of a frontier used firearm. Mechanically needs work.

Fair with gray and brown patina, oxidation, pitting, aged patina on the mounts, cracked trigger guard extension, absent rear sight, and chips, cracks, and repairs in the stock. Mechanically fine.
