Description:

Manufactured in 1897 and subsequently fully engraved by Master Engraver David Harris in the traditional cattle brand pattern pioneered by Cole Agee and carried on by Weldon Bledsoe. Matching serial numbers are marked on the frame, trigger guard, and butt. Provenance: The Charles Marx Collection

Rating Definition:

Very fine as professionally embellished by D. W. Harris with essentially all of the finish remaining, crisp engraving, absent cross pin, and some minor pitting under the finish. Mechanically fine.
