Description:

Factory letter states revolver was shipped to J.P. Moores Sons of New York City on October 3, 1876 with barrel and type of stocks not listed (common indication of 7 1/2 inches and wood), .45 caliber chambering, and blue finish. This was a 50 gun shipment. Provenance: The Charles Marx Collection

Rating Definition:

Good with artificial brown patina, pitting, crude replacement cylinder pin, slightly undersized period grip with attractive color and grain. Mechanically fine.
