Bore Condition: The bore is darkened with pitting and soft rifling.
Description:

This revolver appears to have been assembled using a Colt Model 1861 Navy frame and trigger guard from 1861 and parts of a Leech & Rigdon revolver. The frame and trigger guard are marked "711". The barrel, loading lever, wedge, and back strap are numbered "695." The barrel has a partially obscured "LEECH & RIGDON C.S.A." marking on the octagonal breech section. The frame has traces of a "COLTS/PATENT" marking on the left, and the trigger guard has the "36 CAL" marking on the left.

Rating Definition:

Fair as assembled with an overall grey patina with pitting and softened markings. The grip is fair with chips, dings, scratches, and edge wear. Mechanically functions intermittently (timing inconsistent).
