Bore Condition: The bore is dark with pitting/oxidation and visible rifling.
Description:

Manufactured in the mid-1800s. The London Armoury Company is considered to have provided the Confederacy the best quality of arms of any supplier. The London Armoury Company had essentially become a Confederate States armoury and a year after the Confederacy fell so did the company. Barrel marked "LONDON", left of frame and lock plate marked for London Armoury. Provenance: The Malcolm B. Troup, Captain, US Army, Retired Collection

Rating Definition:

Good, with mostly grey patina, some scattered light pitting, and well-worn grip with some minor cracks and edge chips. Mechanically needs adjustment, functions intermittently.
