Description:

Manufactured in 1864. "1864" dated lock with an eagle, "CSA" and "FAYETTEVILLE" markings, "1864" dated breech of the barrel with "V/P/eagle head" proofs.

Rating Definition:

Good as Confederate issued and subsequently converted to smoothbore, with brown patina and scattered pitting. Stock is also good with numerous characteristic scattered dents, scratches, scuffs, chips, wear areas, cracks and repaired sections visible around the lock. Mechanically fine.
