Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright and has distinct rifling and some pitting.
Description:

Manufactured in 1862 and converted in the late 1860s. Many of these were used in the Fenian Raids. This example is marked "38" on the breech end of the barrel and stock wrist.

Rating Definition:

Very good with mostly bright metal, light pitting, stock repair between the lock and tang, and general mild overall wear. Mechanically fine.
