Bore Condition: The bore is darkened and has distinct rifling and pitting.
Description:

Manufactured by Robbins & Lawrence circa 1853-1855. The consignor notes state "Because of the extremely low serial number of this weapon, many experienced Sharps collectors feel this was one of the ones carried on the" Northern Pacific survey. They purchased it from Ron Peterson who was selling Tom Dunn's collection and subsequently restored it. Provenance: The Tom Dunn Collection; Ron Peterson; Property of a Gentleman

Rating Definition:

Fair as rebuilt with mixed parts, mottled gray and brown patina and pitting, sections absent from the forearm, and moderate wear. Other than the priming mechanism, mechanically fine.
