Description:

Likely embellished in the Ottoman Empire in the 19th century. Approximately 16 gauge barrel that flares to 1 1/4 inches at the muzzle.

Rating Definition:

Good with aged patina on the brass, dark gray and brown patina on the iron, and moderate overall wear. Mechanically fine.

Description:

There are no visible maker's marks, but this style dates to the early 19th century in the U.K., and it has a pair of Tower cross scepter private proof marks of the style used up to c. 1810. Barrel is approximately 14 bore and flares to over 1 1/8 inches at the muzzle.

Rating Definition:

Good with aged patina, verdigris, worn lock markings, and moderate overall wear. Mechanically fine.
