Receiver manufactured in 1934, "S A/flaming bomb/8-42" marked replacement barrel, polished "flaming bomb" and "N" marked bolt with scope clearance cut, "flaming bomb" bolt sleeve, and "H" bayonet lug. Fitted with a walnut handguard with milled flat-top and clearance cut for the front scope base along with a 'C' profile pistol grip stock with "W" in the cutoff recess and unknown "A.H.A." rebuild stamp on the left of the wrist. Topped off with a Wm. Malcolm 8x USMC Vintage Sniper reproduction Unertl pattern scope. Includes two metal scope lens caps and a reproduction M1907 leather sling.

Very fine as refinished and reconfigured as a M1903A1 USMC Sniper pattern rifle, with some minor edge wear, some minor pitting under the finish, scattered minor patches of spotting/freckling, and some light handling marks. The replacement stock is also very fine as sanded and re-oiled with some minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The scope is excellent with clear optics.
