Description:

Manufactured by Remington for the U.S. military during World War II, primarily for use by military and industrial guards and for aerial gunnery training, both freehand and in elaborate simulator mounts. Faintly visible crossed cannons cartouche and "FJA" stamped on the left of the buttstock, "U.S." and flaming bomb marked receiver and barrel, Cutts compensator, added C.C. Rogers rubber buttpad, chamber marked 2 3/4", and 14 1/4" LOP. Non-matching replacement barrel numbered "710549" on bottom.

Rating Definition:

Very good as refinished, with much of the finish, and some scattered patches of light freckling. Wood is also very good as sanded and re-oiled, with some scattered light scratches and nicks. Mechanically excellent.
