Manufactured in 1861, butt inscribed with the name "W.P. Burr," visible numbers match. W.P. Burr has yet to be identified. Although a William P. Burr did serve in the 21st Regiment, Connecticut Infantry during the Civil War.

Good overall with gray patina, some scattered pitting, most of the original silver plating remaining on grip straps. Mechanically fine.
