A) U.S. Remington Arms Model 03-A3 Rifle

Bore Condition: The bore is partially darkened with some strong visible rifling and pitting.
Description:

Receiver manufactured in 1943, "RA/flaming bomb/8-43" marked barrel, replacement "B&S/flaming bomb" marked bolt, along with "R" (Remington Arms) marked bolt sleeve and stacking swivel. Fitted with a walnut handguard and 'S' profile stock marked "square/P" on the underside of the wrist. Includes a M1 pattern web sling with white painted metal fittings.

Rating Definition:

Fine as arsenal refurbished, retaining some of the finish with scattered light edge wear, mild cycling wear, dried varnish, scattered minor visible patches of brown patina/spotting, and mild handling wear. The stock is very good as sanded and varnished with scattered minor scrapes. Mechanically excellent.

Description:

Receiver manufactured in 1918, "S A/flaming bomb/1-29" marked replacement barrel, replacement "N.S." swept-handle bolt, "31" marked on the right of the rear sight base. Fitted with a walnut handguard and 'S' profile grasping groove stock, marked with a boxed "RIA/FK" (U.S. Rock Island Arsenal, Frank Krack) rebuild stamp on the left side. Includes a "HUNTER 200-1 1/4"" marked M1907 style brown leather sporting sling and a nickel oiler in the butt trap.

Rating Definition:

Fine as arsenal refurbished, retaining much of the finish with some light edge wear, dried grease, scattered minor visible patches of spotting/brown patina, and some light handling marks. The stock is also fine as sanded and re-oiled with a hairline crack in the butt and scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
