Factory letter states the revolver was shipped to Transportation Officer, Fort Myer, Rosslyn, Virginia, for Ordnance Officer, on March 4, 1943 with 2" barrel in .38 caliber, blue finish, type of stocks not listed, and square butt configuration. This was a 280 gun shipment.

Very good overall with original finish, muzzle and edge wear, thinned grip straps, softened grip checkering. Mechanically excellent.
