Description:

This is a fine example of a M1928A1 Thompson submachine gun manufactured by Auto-Ordnance of West Hurley, New York, in the 1980s, following the pattern of the World War II issued weapon. Fitted with an unmarked Cutts compensator, fully adjustable Lyman rear sight, walnut forend, pistol grip, detachable buttstock and tan canvas sling. The magazine well is properly slotted for both stick and drum magazines, with 1928 pattern internals ("S" marked Blish Lock, other components unmarked). Included with the lot are an Auto-Ordnance Type "L" 50-round drum magazine, eight stick magazines, extra stock (sans iron and buttplate), and some extra parts. Note: This item is restricted under various state-level assault weapons bans and cannot be sold or transferred to residents of CA, CT, DE, HI, IL, MD, NJ, NY, and WA. Rating Definition:

Excellent, original finish, with mild handling marks and wear overall. A few scuffs and dings are present on the receiver. Stock is very fine, with some scuffs and dings. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 479.
