Rifles so converted were used as snipers during Korea and the Vietnam War. Blade front and peep rear sights, "DRC" windage drum, "S-A-1-52" marked barrel, "-19SA" bolt, "3 SA" relief cut operating rod, "-18-SA" trigger housing, "-2 SA" hammer, "SA 11" safety, M84 scope serial numbered "19843" with a post-and-crosshair reticle, sliding sunshield and a rubber eyepiece, right of the stock stamped with a faintly visible boxed "C-S.A.A." San Antonio Arsenal rebuild cartouche, a circled "P" proof on the front of the grip area. Includes a Hart M2 cone flash hider, canvas web sling and "MRT/2 52" leather cheekpad.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as arsenal upgraded to M1D configuration, with most of the finish and a few small patches of minor surface oxidation. The arsenal refurbished stock is fine as sanded and re-oiled, with some scattered light scratches and dents. Mechanically excellent. Scope is fine with crisp clear optics.
