Manufactured in 1954. Original, parts correct with "LMR" marked and "1 54" dated barrel with bright chamber ring, "IHC/E24" bolt, "IHC" operating rod, and "IHC E" trigger housing with "IHC" hammer and "F" safety. Fitted with a boxed "DoD eagle" inspection stamped walnut stock set with “1744A” Julian date inside the barrel channel. Includes a matching Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) certificate of authenticity dated March 30, 2015, and a matching M1 Garand data sheet that confirms the rifle's configuration with the added details of a throat erosion measurement of "2.0" and a muzzle wear measurement of "1.25".

Very fine, retaining most of the original parkerized finish with minor edge wear, light cycling wear, some dried grease, and minor handling marks. The stock is also very fine with scattered minor dents and scuffs. Mechanically excellent.
