Stock: walnut

Description:

The included factory letter confirms the current grade, barrel length, vent rib, safety, single trigger, ejectors and wood configuration when it was completed on December 29, 1932, per the first inspection report, with the second inspection report listing different chokes and shorter length of pull on April 28, 1937, when it was sent to Miller Brothers Hardware Company (no address). The letter also states the gun was returned on November 12, 1951 for repairs, at which time the second barrel set was added, though listed as cylinder/improved modified chokes (currently "WS-1"/"WS-2"). With a wood and leather takedown case. Chambers marked 3" with ejectors, chokes marked improved modified/full, and 14" LOP.

Rating Definition:

Very good, refinished with light handling evidence, patches of plum hue, and much of the loss on the bottom of the action. The wood has a few small cracks at the forend shoe and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The extra barrel set is also very good as refinished. The case is very good.
