Bore Condition: The bore is partially darkened with some patches of corrosion and distinct rifling.
Description:

Manufactured c. 1863-1865.

Rating Definition:

Good as refinished, with some traces of finish, some re-machined areas in the metal, some patches of light pitting, a replacement Model 1865 type breech block, and a filed front sight blade. Wood is also good as sanded and re-oiled, with numerous scattered dents and scratches, undersized at the front of the forearm, and some cracks. Mechanically fine.
