Bore Condition: The bore is partially bright and has oxidation/pitting and distinct rifling.
Description:

This c. mid-19th century American revolving rifle has no visible identifying markings aside from what appears to be Eagle Rifle Works markings inside the patchbox lid (Philadelphia based company c. 1833-1851). The trigger guard and buttplate are engraved. Provenance: The Charles Marx Collection

Rating Definition:

Very good with gray and brown patina on the iron, aged patina on the brass, cracks and repairs in the wrist of the refinished stock, and general mild wear. The timing is off, but it otherwise mechanically functions.
