A) U.S. Harpers Ferry Model 1795 Musket with 7th Regiment Stock Marking

Description:

"HARPERS/FERRY/1813" marked vertically at the tail of the lock with the Federal eagle at the center, sunken oval proofs at the upper left breech of the barrel, and a circled marking "CVC/7th Rt" on the bottom of the stock, for an unidentified 7th Regiment.

Rating Definition:

Good as refinished, with brown patina, scattered pitting and wear. Stock is also good as sanded and re-oiled, with scattered dents, scratches and cracks. Sticks in half cock upon pulling the trigger, mechanically needs work.
