Bore Condition: The bore is dark and has oxidation and patches of pitting.
Description:

"TK" marked at the breech. A very similar example from George Moller's collection was sold by Rock Island Auction Co. in September 2021 and is pictured and discussed on pages 41-42 of his book "American Military Shoulder Arms, Volume I: Colonial and Revolutionary War Arms" where it is described as "very similar to arms made in Aix-La-Chapelle in the 1650s and known to have been sold to other German and Swiss states. Aix-La-Chapelle, or Aachen in German, is located in western Germany, contiguous to the borders of Holland and Belgium. Germany near present-day borders of Holland and Belgium."

Rating Definition:

Fine as refinished with gray patina on the iron, absent rear sight, bright colored stock with some faint chips and cracks, and mild overall wear. Lock not tested.
