Similar pistols date to the 17th century in Europe. This example may be from Northern Italy. The only visible mark is a "B" on top of the barrel along with more modern "115" and "1016HM" collection markings.

Good with gray and brown patina, oxidation, pitting, various replacement parts including the dog assembly, some pieces absent, loose spliced repair at the toe, and moderate overall wear. Lock not test.
