Manufactured c. mid 1700s, appears to be of French pattern. "I WYNKOOP" marked on the left sideplate, unmarked lock and barrel.

Good as refinished, with brown patina, scattered patches of pitting and wear. Stock is also good as sanded and re-oiled, with scattered dents, scratches, cracks and a period brass repair in the wrist. Mechanically fine.
