Manufactured 1880, subsequently attractively embellished with near full coverage gold damascene floral motifs. The original grips were also embellished with floral and vine silver inlays. Provenance: The Charles Marx Collection

Very good, with most of the bright gold damascene finish remaining, the balance a grey/brown patina with scattered light pitting, and the slightly undersized grips retaining half of the silver inlay with some light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
