A) Danish Copenhagen Arsenal Model 1867/96 Rolling Block Rifle

"1880" dated receiver tang. Period arsenal converted to centerfire. Includes a brown leather sling.

ConditionGood with smooth gray patina, scattered freckling and light pitting. Absent rear barrel band retention spring. Wood is also good as sanded and re-oiled, with scattered light dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent.

B) Argentine Contract E. Remington & Sons Model 1879 Rolling Block Rifle

Manufactured c. 1879-1888. Top breech of the barrel marked "MODELO ARGENTINO. 1879 E. N." Barrel and forend shortened, with modern replacement front sight and tang peep sight, and absent rear sight on the barrel. Bore relined/rechambered for .45-70 Government.

ConditionGood as refinished, with most of the finish, scattered light pitting visible underneath the finish, wear, barrel and forend shortened, bore relined. Wood is also good as sanded and re-oiled, with scattered light handling marks, and a replacement spliced section visible on the right breech area of the forearm. Mechanically excellent.
