Bore Condition: The bore is frosted with spotting and visible rifling.
Description:

Manufactured 1863-1865, converted after the Civil War, barrel sleeved to .45 caliber, likely for .45-70 Government, replaced front sight, two shallow partially drilled holes on the barrel in front of the barrel band and two behind the rear sight with filler screws in place.

Rating Definition:

Fine as converted, with some of the refinished blue and case colors and some scattered light handling marks and small repairs on the refinished wood. Mechanically excellent.
