Description:

Manufactured in 1891. Boxed script "SWP/1891" cartouche stamped on the left wrist of the stock, circled "P" proof on bottom, with faintly visible painted numbers on the right of the buttstock.

Rating Definition:

Fine, with much of the original finish, some scratches on the barrel, and some scattered light surface freckling. Stock is very good as re-oiled, with defined edges, numerous scattered light dents and scratches, and a crisp cartouche. Mechanically excellent.
