Cased Colt London Model 1849 Pocket Percussion Revolver

Manufactured 1853-57, Colt London address, London proofs, arbor pin unnumbered, otherwise visible numbers match. The partitioned case features a "Saml Johnson/HORBURY" marked inscription plaque on exterior of lid and contains "L" shaped combination tool, "COLTS/PATENT" marked iron bullet mold, plain bag shaped powder flask by James Dixon & Sons, and W.&C. Eley cap tin.

ConditionVery good as refinished with most of the finish on the barrel and grip straps, otherwise mottled gray patina, a few patches of moderate pitting, grip with dings and scratches. Mechanically function but cylinder does not lock properly when action is cycled. Case is very good with cracked lid.
