Description:

Collection tags attribute this gun to "Peter Anstat." The Kentucky Rifle Foundation lists Peter Angstadt I (1738-1782), Peter Angstadt II (1763-1815), and Peter Angstadt III (1807-1870) as three of the members of the Angstadt gunmaking family of Berk County, Pennsylvania, in the 18th and 19th centuries.

Rating Definition:

Good as partially restored with mix of applied finish and dark brown patina on the barrel and replacement lock, some cracks and repairs in the stock, and mild overall wear. Mechanically fine.
