Manufactured 1850, only an estimated 2,700 Second Model Dragoons revolvers were manufactured around 1850 and 1851 compared to 7,000 of the First Model Dragoons and 10,500 Third Model Dragoons. They are thus by far the scarcest of the primary Colt Dragoon revolvers. Visible numbers on trigger guard and frame (faint) appear to match, while the others are not legible.

Rating Definition:

Relic, with mostly grey and brown patina, extensive polishing, some areas of faint cold blue, patches of moderate pitting, and the undersized grip refinished with minor handling marks. Mechanically functions but needs adjustment.
