Bore Condition: The bore is dark with pitting/oxidation and faint rifling.
Description:

Manufactured in 1832. Approximately 5,700 of these rifles were originally manufactured by Simeon North between 1830-1836, but relatively fewer have survived. "U.S/S.NORTH/MIDLtn/CONN./1835" marked on the breech block, cartouche on left stock flat.

Rating Definition:

Good, with mostly bright grey patina, some scattered light pitting/oxidation, and scattered minor handling marks on the wood. Mechanically excellent.
